Students can apply to defer commencement of their course, for up to one year, at the time of responding to their offer.
Due dates A deferred place will lapse if the student does not complete enrolment requirements by the date specified in the ‘Return from Deferment’ letter sent in October/November each year.
No tertiary study while on deferment Students are unable to hold a deferred place if they are undertaking study at an alternate tertiary institution during that period.
Scholarships Students who were offered a scholarship may be unable to hold the scholarship while on deferment. Please check the scholarship status with the relevant scholarship officer.
Course changes ACU reserves the right to amend any information and to cancel, change or relocate any course.
